Stricter Laws on Military Aircraft Building

In an important collaborative move by the US and UK governments, both have agreed to sign new policies on how military aircraft are to maintain high standards of safety. The move follows growing concerns from some of the top military and aviation officials that the current safety standards are not up to scratch and personnel are being seriously injured or losing their lives as a result. Both governments have carried out a full review of all the vehicles and have come up with a new set of rules to influence how they are built.Below are details of parts of the new legislation

The Torries Secret Weapon

Back in the early 1990s the new Labour Government and football went together in a match made in heaven. Back then Football had just been re-invented, a brand redeemed from the violence and tragedy of the 1980s and transformed into a glittering entertainment of multi million pound TV licence deals and endless sponsorships coming in from all over the place. American Dollar Being Chased Down By The Canadian

The American dollar has always had the upper hand against the Canadian. Canada has never been able to keep up with the rapid growth of the American economy and whilst they certainly aren’t doing badly, they have always been overshadowed by their next door neighbours. However, as people going on Canada holidays may have noticed recently, with the recession in full flow, Canadian money in closing the gap and their economy looks to be more stable than in the States. Advertising Campaign for Obama Wins Cannes Awards

The extensive advertising campaign that got Barack Obama into the white house has been given acclaim and awards at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Awards. Advertising agency Droga5 won the Titanium prize for presenting an idea that is provocative, challenges assumptions and points to a new direction for The Great Schlep campaign featuring Sarah Silverman intended to boost support for Obama amongst Jewish voters. As well as the video that saw Silverman urging young Jewish grandchildren to persuade their grandparents living in ’swing state’ Florida to give Obama their votes, the campaign also included an interactive website.
